(Aside from our kittycat, Winello, yeah he’s the one on the sidebar, I got a new reader!)
Most of you will say no.
Or your boss probably came across your blog or actually follows it but he or she doesn’t tell you.
And what about my boss? He does! I still can’t believe how it happened. Anyway, I was overwhelmed, uncomfortable, flattered, panicking rolled into one when I learned about it. My first reaction inside my head was “oh no, I need to review all the posts in my archives, I need to edit, I need to delete this and that, I need to write my succeeding posts in Filipino, I need to do this, I need to do that!” But in the end, I realized that I don’t need to change anything. The thought of deleting any post, even my crazy phase of addiction with vampires and wolves and my boohoooos, absolutely pained me. I have my surprising and imperfect side and I’m proud of it.
When I started blogging, I didn’t have a particular reader in my mind. I was just enjoying talking in this space and I still do. Simple mechanics: enjoy the process, be credible, unwind, be myself, and again — enjoy it. Hence, to do a major edit would be a mistake because that would be no fun anymore. So unreal. To be found out will always be a probability. And I guess I’m just so lucky that I have not written anything that will make me say once my blog is found out that “oh no, I’m dead!” I remember mentioning in one of my posts that I try not to blog when I’m at my highest high or lowest low.
I think it’s understandably awkward at the moment. But I chose to be “me”, so hey boss (yes, I’m talking to you hahahaha), I have another name, i.e. witsandnuts, I love my job (ehem!), I was a hardcore Twilight fanatic, I love taking photos of food, I love to eat (as if it’s not obvious!), when I do my reports I sometimes pysche myself that I’m drafting a blog entry and it really helps, and I love so many things!!!
While I still feel uneasy at the moment, like someone’s policing me, and who knows there are more out there hahahaha, I am happy to be me.

Oh my fear has happened to you. I don’t even want my friends to know I blog. I thought my blogs are my “own” place where I can just be anynomous, but I’m sure sooner or later someone most likely google will connect Photo Cache to my real name and I’d end up being found out 🙂
hmm…i would feel uneasy if my boss is reading my blog too. i like to separate blogging from work; it’s just easier that way.
It’s good that my boss doesn’t seem to be interested. Some people here in the office read my blog, but there sure is nothing to worry about.
no! buti nalang walang time ang boss ko sa mga blog na yan. hehehe. pero one of my officemates eh alam ang blog ko which is ok lang naman kasi pareho naman kaming bihira nalang makapag online, busy kasi masyado.
Its possible my boss reads my blog. But I’m pretty sure I have nothing in my blog that would get me in trouble or at worst, get me fired. I don’t think so anyway. 😀
chance mo naring magsipsip. haha
i’d be surprised if my boss bloghops! he’s 86, btw. 😛 haha… no worries, witsandnuts! i’m sure your boss will just see how many nice friends *ahem* you have.
He doesn’t, hehe. I’m more careful with Facebook because I’ve office friends there. So, I rant on a private account in Twitter, hahaha.

I can understand your panic, having been in your position not too long ago 😛 But from the start, I’ve always known that people would find out about my blog sooner or later so I’m always painfully aware of that fact every time I put my fingers on the keyboard to type out my next blog post.
i think my bosses know that i have a blog…they just don’ read it. but if ever they do, honestly, wala lang sa akin. 🙂
hala ka wits…your boss is stalking you! he he!
Your boss reads it because he/ she thinks it’s worth the time.
If I were your boss stalking you, all I read were positive forces blending in :0)
Sometimes I’m thinking I should encrypt my blog. But then, sino magbabasa? hehe
.. i don’t tell my co-workers that i blog, specially my boss! 🙂
Yes she reads it. Wala naman akong tinatago sa kanya, haha!
my boss doesn’t browse the internet much and there’s only officemate of mine who knows about my blogging life (and follow me on twitter too)
heck, my officemates don’t even know i have an FB account hehe
i think my boss is too busy to read blogs, he has tons of werk material to read and if he is not reading, he is either on the phone or on a meeting, Just hope that no one from my colleague who reads my blog tells him about it. sigh**
