Gateway by Gu Dexin. This is where all the bananas went. Banana art at its best. The visitors may pick the bananas, eat them and throw the skin to the urns (marble style). This is a modern interpretation of stages of life. Imagine the adulthood of a banana in its full glory until it gets rotten.
I was indeed a happy monkey! All the unconsumed bananas were donated to the Emirates Park Zoo after the exhibit.

Looking forward to next year’s Abu Dhabi Art.

Interesting. Worth a visit indeed. Modern art baffles me sometimes. It seems like anything you want to put out there as long as you have a story behind it can be called art, which I am having a tough time with to be honest with you.

Little J has better appreciation compared with me. Sometimes I would stare at a masterpiece for a long time and still not get it. Recently, I find myself so amused by the not so obvious art pieces.
