I have never really appreciated Italian cuisine until I have been to Villa Toscana last year. Recently, we revisited the not so secret (by now) new home of authentic Italian dishes in Abu Dhabi.
I will never get enough of this lobster soup in the oven!
The interiors added to the Tuscany feel. Veranda seating is also available. That would be particularly nice in colder months as it gives you the view of Abu Dhabi Corniche.
We also had lamb pappadell, spicy prawns (tasted a bit of ‘my’ buttered shrimps) and lobster ravioli which are all sumptuous.
Tiramisu is always a must-try in an Italian corner!
This is the grand lobby of St. Regis Hotel in Corniche (completely different from the one in Saadiyat). The stairs will lead you to Villa Toscana to your left.
Reservation is recommended.

Hi Eds! It’s nice to ‘see’ you again in the blogosphere. I love that seafood ensemble because it is not so filling and is delicious.

I love how Italian cuisine makes its waves to our food preferences. It’s a bit pricey for me though but since I started appreciating authentic Italian food here in Batangas, I definitely look forward to an occasional indulgence. Nice photos Jo! 🙂
