I am glad the tree is still strong enough to manage the furry, pretty ornament (Perdita).
Getting ready to Skype with family and friends.
Santa Claus and Winello, the ever curious-super chubby cat (currently weighing 6 kilos).
One of my most favorite Christmas books.
Christmas bazaar catered the cravings of wide range of expats/ different nationalities. Quick fix for homesickness.
The Christmas celebration in the UAE (which is a Muslim country) has evolved a lot.
Gingerbread house, a main attraction in Rosewater Restaurant’s dessert bar (Jumeirah Etihad Towers).
Santa Claus is too cute to be consumed.
More festive cakes.

View from Rosewater Restaurant. Sunbathers and swimmers on a chilly weather.
Taken after one of the many outdoor Christmas day masses in St. Joseph Church, Abu Dhabi. Of my almost 5 years of being in Abu Dhabi, I spent three Christmasses away from home. I am grateful to God for the many blessings and challenges as well. I hope it is not too much to wish that I can spend next year’s Christmas in the Philippines. The place I otherwise call as Christmas island.
I hope you all had a happy and meaningful Christmas celebration.
