We shall not step on the benches. But it seemed like a lot broke this rule as they watched the parade during the UAE’s 38th birthday. Who can resist? Me. However, although it is discouraged to photograph strangers in this part of the globe, the shuttering and zooming were so tempting.
This is my entry for this week’s photo hunt (theme: broken).

photographing strangers is discouraged there? but they’re the most interesting subjects! especially when they’re not looking! 😛

Notice kung sino ang mga “pasaway”? Sila yung mahihilig sa “curry” at sibuyas.
Happy Valentines, Ms.Jo!

Penalized. But I have no idea about the weight of the penalty. Although that particular day, I don’t think they penalized anyone.

Looking at your photo, I almost thought you were in Pakistan or India and not UAE 🙂

I thought about that, too. There’s a huge population of Indians and Pakistanis here. The same with Filipinos. On a normal day, it would feel like I’m just in Manila or Makati with too many Filipinos around. Everywhere. 🙂
