(Everything looks nicer from a little far away)
I’ve been following this blog for almost two years now. I, sort of, have a thing for thoughts charmingly shared through visuals and alike (other examples are Milk Toof and Buhay Buhangin Series by Blogusvox).
This one’s sweet:
In a way, this reminds me of Michelle’s words about being married to Barack Obama, on Christmas at the White House: An Oprah Primetime Special,
I think we have a wonderful marriage. I love my husband. He’s my best friend. But I always like to talk honestly about it because I think about other young couples who think there are no struggles to get here. And there are. That’s part of it. The message is – work through the struggles. Start out with somebody that you respect and that you trust so that when you hit the bumps that are inevitable you always have that foundation. I tell Barack — as mad as he can make me — I look at him and I say, I really LIKE you. I like you, and I like the way you think and I like the person you are. It’s hard to stray too far, to stay mad too long, when the person is someone you like.

Well said Michelle. I share the same sentiments with my husband. I can’t stay mad at him for longer than 5 minutes because I really like him too.
Will check out the sites you mentioned.

cute!!!! 🙂 thanks for sharing the link.
as for the michelle’s statement, i so agree 🙂 marriage is a challenge, that is the reality. but it takes a lot of respect and friendship to trust that one person. you really have to have a strong foundation especially when time are tough.

I hope we can be like that too. We still have a long, long way to go. I can never stay at at my wife, no matter how frustrating it sometimes get. One sweet gesture and I’m sold. She on the oter hand needs a lot of work.

Yes. The blog’s entries are all about different topics/thoughts shared through index cards. Jessica Hagy (the author) already released the INDEXED book. http://www.amazon.com/dp/0142005207?tag=neotakucom-20&camp=14573&creative=327641&linkCode=as1&creativeASIN=0142005207&adid=0QNJMHR2MSZF3HFN9BXG&
