(December 11, my window’s moist)
Guess what? It has been raining since Friday. I know it is not a big news.
(December 11, View from my window after the rain. The roads were fully washed up.)
But it is when you are in the Gulf. That it is worth taking videos and photos of it.
Last year, when I had my first rainshowers in the UAE, I played with it that merited me a fever. Incidentally, I forgot that the first drops in this part of the world can be toxic. A real shocker to me was when it snowed last January (gee, nothing is impossible). Is it going to happen again very soon? We are going to see.
So, I am feeling much in the Philippines with these in sight (December 13 morning photos):
Some of the locals are quite horrified by the relative little flooding. But I am loving it. So much. 😀
(See flooded area photos in the Gulf News)

Rain, woo hoo!
We had rain all last week too and like you I am a happy camper. I want some more.
I heard Saudi had flooding a few weeks ago as well. It’s nice to see some rain in the desert.

after the flooding in Jeddah last month, it’s not surprising that you’re getting rain like we do.:p
God only promised humanity that He would never again flood the entire earth. He never said he wouldn’t flood specific areas.:p

I remember when it rained in Dubai when I was still living there (it seems like centuries ago na) there was slight flooding and the next month they completely overhauled the drainage system to fix the problem which caused heavy traffic. Heavy daw but quite light in terms of traffic here in Pinas hehehe

Pareho din dito sa Saudi. It rained two days ago and we were late at work because of a short inch-deep flash flood along the highway.
Like you, I also enjoy it especially at night when I can hear the rain tip-tapping on my A/C. Because it resembles a bubungang yero during rainy days in Pinas, medyo parang may dala syang alaala sa akin.
I agree, rain, rain please come again in Saudi.
