Mine and her ju-on feet, respectively. Taken in 2006.
I recently watched Grudge 3 and that made me sleep uneasily that night. It’s interesting in a way, and it applies to many, that we still watch suspense and/or horror flicks even if we know the foolish “scaring of one’s self” by imagining things after that is going to happen.
In Grudge 3, you’ll get to see again Toshio and the ghost girl who is so white (looks like she swam in a pool of flour) and scary that way. But there’ll be a twist in this sequel because the curse was reborn. I remember when Grudge 1 (original Japanese film was titled Ju-on) and 2 were at their peak, my friend-former officemate and I have been associated to having “ju-on feet”. That day, we coincidentally wore our stockings which are highly noticeable for being off to skin tone.
What are your favorite horror flicks?

We don’t watch scary flicks because wifey doesn’t like them. The last scary movie I saw was The Ring, I think. I had restless nights for a week! I even considered making a copy myself so I won’t die. 🙂

favorite horror flicks—my all-time favorite is The Shining (based on Stephen King’s novel), it’s a masterpiece. Jack Nicholson scared me to death!:P Salem’s Lot, another Stephen King novel, The Howling and Phantasm. The Tall Man in Phantasm gave me nightmares (lol). I haven’t seen a really scary horror film in recent years—di nakakatakot, nakakatawa.:P

I live alone, so I dont want scary movies much. I remembered being so much scared in Shake, Rattle, and Roll, with Manilyn Reynes as the lead start. 🙂

Only two horror flicks had scared me so far. And I guess I can say they’re my favorites. These two are: The Exorcist (1973), and Ringu (1998).
I don’t get scared that easily with horror films because they’re not really that “horror” per se but mostly, suspense. Suspense is when I want to close my eyes because I don’t want to see a gory scene. Horror is when I don’t want to close my eyes to sleep for fear I won’t wake up anymore in the morning.
But I hear there’s a new scary film out there that’s freaking out a lot of people. It’s called Paranormal Activity. I got to see that one!
