Whoever thought that this kind of gelatin would be appealing/appetizing, I hope he or she will take this off the list next time. I found it really kyooot. But my mind says it’s not edible. Heehee.
I didn’t know that the gelatin was sort of a premonition, err, a warning that there’s something unusual going on at home. 😀
They are actually lovable especially when not wet. But the red eyes scared me on this picture. Haha. Research tells that those with red eyes have a limited vision than the others. 😉
As I mentioned several times, I went home to the Philippines unannounced. That is no one, not even one from my family/relatives, knew that I would be arriving that minute. I love surprises (on a charming way). And I was surprised, too, to know that we have these as additional pets. Haha. I didn’t see them until Ondoy came.
In times of emergency, living things (directly referring to Biology) matter more. During the sudden flooding, we saved them first before the computer and other stuff, even leaving the oven floating. Please take note that they are healthier than the chicken. The latter almost got colds while they did not. Fearing that the chicken are going to be double dead, we made their lives more useful. They were turned into chicken adobo that day. I forgot to take photos before their assassination*.
*Assassination is the targeted killing of a public figure. This may be prompted by ideological, political, or military reasons.
keywords = public figure (check) + ideological reasons (check)
Of course, I’m just kidding.
What pets do you have?

My PC’s graphic card is low-res and I initially thought the gelatin has droppings. Mouse-look-alike jelo pala. Hehe.
That was also my concern when I heard of Ondoy’s flash flood: How to save our pets? Our place was unflooded, thanks God. Pero kung sakaling binaha rin kami, I’m certain my father will save the dogs first, then the chicken, and then let the fish in our aquarium fend for themselves. Hehe.
Assasination ba talaga? Parang mas maganda ang the massacre of the mother hens o kaya flaying alive the fowls. Hehe ulit.

Oh my that gelatin doesn’t really taste appetizing, but I love gelatin anyway so I’d probably gobble that up.
I was just in the Animal Shelter over the weekend checking for what’s available for adoption. The shelter closest to us has too many dogs awaiting adoption, a sad consequence of foreclosure and down economy. My hubs and I fell in love with a dog but does not really have a plan to get one right now.
Currently, we own a pair of parakeets (Scully and Mulder) and some fish.
And I am feeding a ton of birds in the backyard, yeah, I call them mine.

Of course, all kinds of life matter most. I’m glad your pets were saved!
I used to take care of cats, but now it’s so hard to find a landlord that allows pets. For a while a fancied turtles and even studied proper turtle care in preparation for buying one, but the plan never pushed through.

Cute dessert! Kaso medyo unappetizing. Wifey and I currently have no pets. My parents and in laws have a LOT of pets: dogs, birds, rabbits, stray cats, chickens, and fish.

I tell you we really get attached to our pets – be it cat, dog or hamster. Some people here even pay for their medical insurance, to cover fees in case the pet gets sick 😉
