We were back to Galler and this time we ordered avocado and shrimp salad. Oh well, I’m trying to do my best to fulfill my November promises, one of which is to eat healthy. The salad was satisfying and delish. But….
… I was not strong enough to leave this place without a bite of its crepe. I’m really hooked to its homemade belgian chocolate crepe.
We also tried the banana chocolate crepe. It was indeed sweet indulgence. Looks better, eh. But the first crepe is much yummier. Best crepe that I’ve tasted so far.
Whew. I am a great pretender when it comes to trying to eat healthy. I normally kick off my meal with something reasonable. But I’m knocked off when it’s dessert time. Really knocked off. That’s vicious. I seem to be singing the same old tune. Last year, I had my despedidas as perfect excuse to pig out. It’s almost been a year and I haven’t stopped.
Not for any other reason, but I think we need to be responsible with the stuff we are eating. But how can I say no to these sweet temptations? (I admit I just really can’t survive a day without a bite of chocolate) And my favorite holidays are coming so soon. I have an excellent reason again to indulge in unhealthy edibles. For now, I’m deferring my plan to eat healthy (What???? Again? – imagining my family and friends’ violent reactions). On February, I will.
